About the role

Summary

This position is located in the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Administration (OA), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Procurement and Contract Management Division (PCMD). The incumbent serves as the Policy Chief in the Procurement & Contract Management Division, Guidance and Compliance Branch, and is recognized as a procurement expert with the highest degree of competence and responsibility.

Duties

As a Supervisory Procurement Analyst, GS-1102-14, your typical work assignments may include but are not limited to the following: Oversees and directs procurement policy branch in establishing procurement related policies and procedures for application throughout the Executive Office of the President (EOP). Prescribes policies and procedures on acquisition-specific requirements such as procurement planning, development of acquisition strategies, monitoring and evaluating the performance of orders. Coordinates the activities and oversees the implementation of the EOP's Small Business Program including development of goals and reports on achievement/accomplishment of these goals. Develops internal reviews or audits and implements oversight activities including utilizing program evaluation and analysis methods, techniques, and practices. Manages, leads and directs staff which includes evaluating their overall performance and providing advice, counsel, and instructions to accomplish their assigned functions.

Education
