Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a Critical Acquisition Position. This position is located at the Army Geospatial Center, Alexandria, Virginia

Duties

Oversees the operation of the District or Contracting Center.,Provides expert acquisition advice to the District Commander, or Contracting Center Director, and the Senior Contracting Official (SCO).,Manages personnel actions within the USACE District or Contracting Center with annual contracts in the hundreds of million dollars.,Supervises and manages the Contracting District or Contracting Center staff.,Ensures that staffing and organization of the office is appropriate to support the mission.

One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a Career Program (CP) 14 - position Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest. A recruitment or relocation incentive MAY be authorized if it is in the best interest of the government. Pay includes a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) authorized for the duty location in Alaska. COLA is subject to change without notice. Selectee(s) must be DAWIA Contracting Professional certified (Acquisition Career Field 14) within their specified grace period or have an approved waiver signed by the DACM before the final job offer is made.
