We are building a world-class Procurement organization of trusted advisors that deliver value and foster innovation to fuel Vantor’s mission-critical business operations.
The Vantor Procurement organization spans multiple Category Management pillars, including indirect procurement, direct procurement, third-party risk management, and satellite aerospace engineering.
Vantor is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager with experience supporting technology and services categories to join our team in Westminster, CO. The ideal candidate will bring extensive sourcing and category management experience, a data-driven mindset, and a track record of delivering measurable business value.
In this role, you will operate as an individual contributor with full ownership of sourcing strategies, execution and category management focused on technology and services across the business. The ideal candidate will become a trusted partner to cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with business priorities, program objectives, and financial targets, while contributing to broader procurement and supplier management initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across a variety of categories, leveraging experience in technology and services, including vendor selection, RFx execution, supplier evaluation, and contracting
Develop sourcing and category strategies that deliver significant value to stakeholders
Analyze supplier landscape and market dynamics to inform category strategies and sourcing decisions
Proactively manage categories to optimize results - including spend analytics, supplier performance and stakeholder management
Drive cost optimization, value creation, and risk mitigation across the supplier portfolio (e.g., savings, cost avoidance, contract optimization)
Leverage data analytics and technology (including AI-enabled tools) to enhance sourcing efficiency, insights, and decision-making
Contract management activities including but not limited to: interpretation, negotiation, redlining, versioning, facilitation between stakeholders, legal and the supplier
Own strategic supplier relationships, including performance management, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Influence cross-functional stakeholders to align on sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and standardization opportunities
Manage key indirect suppliers and spend across the organization
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of sourcing processes, tools, and governance frameworks

Minimum Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Minimum of 7+ years related experience in contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, spend analytics and/or market intelligence
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Demonstrated ability to support multiple indirect spend categories as an individual contributor, with experience in Technology and Services and the ability to operate across diverse stakeholder groups and competing business priorities
Experience sourcing technology and/or services categories (e.g., software, SaaS, cloud, IT services, or professional services)
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, project management, and supplier performance management
Experience leading large and complex sourcing events and contract negotiations
Experience structuring and negotiating complex, high-value agreements with technology and services providers
Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier agreements to achieve best-value outcomes while maintaining strong supplier relationships
Strong stakeholder influence and change management skills, with the ability to drive adoption of procurement processes and best practices across cross-functional teams
Experience supporting Technology and Services categories (e.g., software, cloud, SaaS, IT services, or professional services) is preferred, but not required to be the sole focus
Strong financial acumen, including cost analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO), and risk assessment
Experience leveraging data analytics and automation tools to enhance sourcing effectiveness and support data-driven decision-making
