Summary

About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado in the Directorate of Logistics.

Duties

Implement the supply property book program, responsible for administration, life-cycle management of specialized medical equipment.,Direct the receipt and storage of medical supplies as the hand receipt manager.,Develop and write specifications, statement(s) of work, requirements, quality and property control plans and source surveillance plans.,Gather, research and analyze information for each individual requirement to establish an annual supply contract.,Respond to product recall requests from manufacturers by identifying such products in use and in stock.,Resolve contract disputes with manufacturers within the scope of the COR requirements.,Implement change to meet customer’s needs and handle frequent problems due to sudden fluctuations in hospital population and changes in medical equipment and treatment procedures.,Use best judgment and tact when working with customers, senior level personnel, Vendors, etc.,Initiate, review and process procurement requests for medical/surgical supplies.,Review completed purchase requests for adherence to procurement regulations, policies, procedures and correctness.,Use Government purchase cards to procure specialized medical equipment and sensitive items.,Provide justification, best value determination, market research, and other documents required for funding and purchasing property.
